Here is a supposed ride video of a 2006 New Flyer D40LFR operating on the GSX (Green Line Shuttle) between Prince George's Plaza and Fort Totten station during the beginning of the PM rush. Bladensburg has the D40LFRs as reserves and are mainly used on the shuttles. Currently they got like 10 of them being used for the shuttles. They will most likely go back into the reserve pile once the shuttles conclude after Labor Day.
During this ride, the bus turbo exploded causing the bus to lose speed and slow down and eventually can't make it up the hill. So basically the bus broke down. At 7:10, you can hear a loud boom which is the turbo exploding. The bus stopped along Chillum Road where it couldn't continue on. C40LFR 2817 ended up picking up the remaining passengers a few minutes later where we completed the trip. 6164 would make it to Fort Totten later and then head back to Bladensburg. The bus would be return to service the next day however lol.
