Ancient burial chamber tomb

Bryn Celli Ddu Burial chamber tomb located on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales.
The site dates back to the stone age around 3000BC.

The mound was used as a burial chamber I did not walk on the top of the mound as I just felt it was disrespectful. I spent a few minutes inside the mound just thinking what it would be like back then.

When the sun shines on the longest day of the year the whole chamber lights up.

This has to be in the top 10 places to visit in Wales I have to say it is the best ancient burial mound I have visited in Wales and the main part is it is free to visit and there is parking right next to the location so well worth an adventure.

Many items have been found inside the tomb for example human remains ,quartz, ancient flint arrowheads, small beads, and even sea shells. You will notice there is flowers and shells inside I think people bring them to pay there respect to the ancestors.
