To foster synergy among research centers and create a stable research environment, the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) inaugurated the Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences on January 1 at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) campus.
The Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences is to consist of three research centers: ▲ Center for Multidimensional Carbon Materials(led by Rodney RUOFF) ▲ Center Soft and Living Matter(led by Bartosz GRZYBOWSKI) ▲ Center for Genomic Integrity(led by MYUNG Kyungjae). MYUNG Kyungjae serves as the inaugural Managing Director of the research cluster.
