Every agency is under pressure to reduce fleet costs. It is essential that fleet managers understand that upper management often has very limited knowledge of the science of fleet management, and educating and informing them is a key part of your job. This session will explain the fundamentals of fixed and variable costs, how they should be tracked and reported, and how fleet managers can prioritize and identify areas for cost reduction while continuing to serve operational needs
