In todays episode I cut back all the hedges on the new plot. The poly tunnel is so light and airy now! The hedges of hazelnut & brambles were horrific. Scratching my arms so bad. However its looking fantastic already. The plot has so much sunlight now. At the Grapevine Garden plot. We have harvested all the Mexican blue corn. It really is blue!! Harvests have been made throughout the raised no dig beds. There's been an attack on the leeks. Sadly the bed has been demolished by allium leaf minor. Which has decimated the leeks. Thankfully I planted some back ups in another bed. Always plan ahead! The runnerbeans have had it now. No more fresh runnerbeans until next summer. We also discuss future plans for the plots. What's staying and what's going. So much planned.
