WMGC-TV 34 Eyewitness News 5/30/1996

From the ABC affiliate here in Binghamton (now WIVT) with anchor Stacey Frey and a feature story with John Leslie. Stacey is married to anchor John Kosich. John & Stacey met in 1994 when they were reporters at WNEP News Watch 16 (Stacey was born & raised in Scranton). By the time John & Stacey became engaged, Stacey anchored on this station in 1996-97 and then WFMZ-TV 69 Allentown commuting from their Scranton home. After WNEP (John) & WFMZ (Stacey), Mr. & Mrs. Kosich went to Buffalo at WKBW Ch 7 Eyewitness News from 1999-2002. John & Stacey were at the same station their anchor Nolan Johannes were in the 1960s & 70s. The Kosichs are now in Cleveland where Stacey is on WJW Fox-8 and John is on WEWS Ch 5. John Leslie is well remembered for decades on WNBF radio.
