MEMORYFEST 2025 is the annual URL festival dedicated to musician, The Caretaker, and the community surrounding them.

"In 1999, English experimental musician Leyland Kirby would release the album Selected Memories from the Haunted Ballroom under the moniker The Caretaker. The album sought to recreate the atmosphere of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, evoking memories of a time long gone. Leyland Kirby would continue to release albums under the moniker until 2019, tackling subjects such as amnesia and dementia. Their final series of albums, Everywhere at the End of Time, would serve as their magnum opus, widely considered one of the best musical works of the 2010s. The series would tackle Alzheimer’s disease with its long-form, immersive, & deteriorating sound design. In the wake of this, a small but passionate community spawned, and works of a similar style would be created. MEMORYFEST, saw its first iteration in 2021, and has been hosted annually in The Caretaker Fan Projects Discord since."
