A press conference is held to announce Taylor's return. Taylor is stunned and overjoyed when she sees her father in the audience. The two have a wonderful reunion. Taylor is also a bit shocked when she sees a mystery man in the audience. Brooke breaks down backstage and Eric comforts her as the situation is almost too much for her to handle. Gabriela is devastated when she receives a letter from Larchmont College saying that she will not be able to attend due to the fact that she is an illegal immigrant. Thomas thinks it must be a mistake and calls the family lawyer to find out some more information. Gabriela is heartbroken when it seems her only option is to go back to her home country where she has no friends and no family. Later, the lawyer tells Thomas that she could marry someone who was born in the United States to obtain a green card.
