RC live | Historical Schooner VALDIVIA in AUKRUG - 2018

Dreams of your youth might be,.. yes, dreams. But sometimes they come true! This is one of my youth, and belive me, I couldn´t wait until the proper Wind blows... , I simply had to sail her, the newest Addition to our rc-fleet. May I introduce you to this beautifull lady: The VALDIVIA von Altona. A Newfoundland Schooner, build as a racingyacht. An former Kit from the german Manufacturer ROBBE (now partly in romarin by Krick). She left the production, sadly, years ago and the only way you find her any more is via auction plattforms. Luckily mine had a good home and not much work was necessary to get her back under sail... actually if not for the former owner and his wife, I wouldn´t even be able to put her into our docks, cause her former port of call was way down in the south! So, again, a big thank you to both of you, for bringing her up a large bit and thou getting her near my range :-).

Jugendträume sind,.. naja.. Träume halt. Man erwartet nicht, dass sie mal wahr werden. Und doch, ab und an, arbeit man da erfolgreich dran. Diese hier war schon in meiner Jungend ein Traum,.. und nun konnte ich nicht mal mehr warten, bis eine vernünftige Briese weht... ich musste den neuen Zugang zu unserer Flotte einfach zu Wasser lassen! Darf ich Euch vorstellen: Die VALDIVIA von Altona. Ein Neufundlandschoner, als Rennyacht gebaut. Ein Bausatz der ehemaligen deutschen Modellbaufirma ROBBE (welche nun zum Teil von KRICK als ROMARIN wieder ins Leben zurück gerufen wurde 👍). Schon lange aus der Produktion raus und nur noch mit viel Glück in den Online Auktionshäusern überhaupt noch zu finden. Meine hatte zum Glück ein gutes Zuhause und es war kaum Arbeit nötig, sie wieder unter Segel zu setzen... tatsächlich wäre ich ohne ihren Voreigner und seine Frau überhaupt nicht in der Lage gewesen, sie in meinen Hafen zu überführen, da sie weit unten aus dem Süden hoch in den Norden musste. Auf diesem Wege nochmal ein großes Dankeschön, dass Ihr Beiden uns so weit entgegen gekommen seid und sie damit überhaupt erst in unsere Reichweite gebracht habt :-)!
