The Mysteron is an amazing little beast - but like all beasts it needs to be tamed a little. Here is a very basic drone patch with the Mysteron in pseudo-duophonic mode, triggered by the Pressure Points and filtered by the MMG.
I hope this shows how the raw sound of the Mysteron is really organic, moving and breathing in response to subtle parameter shifts in a pleasing yet unpredictable fashion.
In the final seconds of the video, I find out how easy it is to wander unwittingly out of the 'sweet spot' and into an unpleasant realm of circuit-bent electronic bagpipes and raspy broken harmoniums
