This video explains one of the mechanism of SARS-CoV-2 entry into the host cell. SARS-CoV-2 Spike Glycoprotein contains the Receptor-binding domain (RBD) which attaches to the Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme-2 (ACE-2) of the host cell and invades into the cell, later it takes the control of the host cell and starts making copies of the virus, which ultimately leads to the infection throughout the body. This is not the only mechanism, but it is one of the mechanisms of invasion.
