Howzit! In this video, I am going to walkthrough the basic techniques of finding tako, or octopus, in Hawaii. Octopus can be caught year round on all sides of the islands and are very sustainable making them an excellent target for spearfishermen. Finding tako can be tricky at first and developing a "tako eye" takes time and practice, but if the tricks and tips from this video are used, eventually your "tako eye" will click and you'll be seeing them in places you've swam over hundreds of times in the past.
