"Urban Landscape & Healthy City: Mechanisms and Research Questions Regarding the Impacts of Urban Green Landscapes on Public Health and Well-Being"
Dr. Jiang Bin, Associate professor at the Division of Landscape Architecture of the University of Hong Kong and Director of the Virtual Reality Lab of Urban Environments & Human Health (UEHH), delivered a plenary talk for the Hong Kong 2022 International Urban Forestry Conference.
In this talk, Dr. Jiang introduced the research conducted by his lab that explores the relationship between urban landscape and a healthy city. He proposed three mechanisms and seven research questions regarding the impacts of urban green landscapes on public health and well-being.

Trained as a landscape researcher and architect with a background in design, humanity, and environmental psychology, Dr Jiang’s research interests include the impacts of built environments on human health and wellbeing, environmental justice and security, landscape empowerment of deprived communities, and contemporary landscape architecture.
