Budget Full Sus Vs Expensive Hardtail!

Both full-suspension and hardtail mountain bikes offer the chance for thrills, spills and covering terrain FAST. But how important is it to have rear suspension?

Can a budget full-suspension MTB run rings around even the most expensive hardtail? Or will a hardtail with an unlimited parts budget be able to beat a full-sus bike?

Will thinks a full-suspension bike, even at the lower end of the pricing spectrum, will always beat a hardtail.

But Tom disagrees: “I think a hardtail has a lot to offer, besides a lack of rear suspension, and spending extra money will get you some technically advanced kit that means this hardtail can beat a full-susser…”
