Indian cricket produced some sheer talented cricketers that received applauds from across the globe. A country with 1.16 billion people that follows cricket quite religiously had the honour to have players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli in their arsenal. The list holds a total of 231 cricketers, who donned Indian jersey for at least once in their professional cricketing career.

It is an accepted fact that the journey of being an international cricketer isn’t an easy path. Any player works hard on the cricket field for many years in a wish to get a call up from their national side. And, picking cricket as a career is sought as a risky decision in India due to several reasons. It is the ultimate dream to get a break into international cricket in a country 1.16 billion people where competition to get one berth among Playing XI is always at its peak.
Here are the five players who never deserved to be part of the national team:
1. Laxmi Ratan Shukla-
Laxmi Ratan Shukla, is a former Indian cricketer and politician. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. He represented Bengal cricket team. He was also a player in the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils, and the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
2.Rohan Gavaskar-
Rohan Sunil Gavaskar is an Indian former cricketer. He played in 11 One Day Internationals. He was a middle-order left-handed batsman and an occasional slow left arm orthodox bowler. Rohan is the son of Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar.
3.Stuart Binny-
Stuart Terence Roger Binny is an Indian international cricketer, who has played One Day Internationals, Twenty20 Internationals, and Tests. He played for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
4.Parvinder Awana-
Parvinder Awana is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Delhi in domestic cricket. He belongs to Gurjar community. He is a right-arm medium pace bowler.
5.Yograj Singh-
Yograj Singh is an Indian actor and the former cricketer who played only one Test and six ODIs for India as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. His debut Test was at Wellington against New Zealand which India lost by 62 runs. After his career was ended by injury, he entered Punjabi cinema. He Is Father Of Star Cricketer Yuvraj Singh
