Tactics Board Review (2023) 🔥

I decided to do a review on a number of affordable skateboards and Tactics was for SURE one of those brands I have always noticed but always overlooked because I would skate what I wanted and kick out cash for that. Also that was not tactics specific, but any cheaper boards in general but now at the point boards hit $70 from the start, I really wanted to go down this road. I tend to find boards regardless of the brand at $40-50 so would do that and be fine and still do, but for reviews I do often have to break the bank.

I wanted to start a series of fishing for all the affordable boards out there and trying them to buck my and what I feel is a general stigma around cheaper boards. Even now people associate "cheaper" with "lesser quality" which is not always the case.

Tactics boards from this one so far are a prime example of not adhering to the notion of "Cheaper = less" because this board was SPOT ON perfect for me. Even on some more objective measures because I know there are lots of subjective elements to what makes something good or not with skating. The pop of the board, the concave, the shape, the hold and everything was really impressive. When needed, I will be buying more tactics boards and Globe boards at this point. Both so far were amazing but that concave on the Tactics is more my wheel house I think at this point, but that is another case and point of a subjective measure making me go one way over another but NOT based on the performance of the actual board.

I skated lots of street relative to what I normally get around to doing since I would mostly skate in schools and needed the weekend to do so or summer vacation. Most of it was park skating (grosssss) but in all terrains it held its own.
