The 1970s were the undisputed peak of Reggae's golden era and the legendary Joe Gibbs Studio was one the hottest music factories of that epoch. Gibbs and his sidekick in the genius Sound Engineer Errol Thompson became known as the Mighty Two and went on to turn out one hundred number one hits and thousands of classics over the years.
But at the dawn of the 1980s Joe Gibbs was hit with a nasty lawsuit that crumbled his empire and brought his stunning run to an end.
