A frozen wind follows a young soldier home, carrying the ghosts of Chosin and the voices he left in the snow.
A worn bluesman sits on his porch, lighting a cigarette as the war inside him keeps marching long after the fighting stopped.
A slow, minor-key 1950s Korean War blues built from greasy hollow-body guitar, dragging bass, brushed drums, mournful harmonica, and the distant chill of battlefield memories. One battle-scarred veteran half-sings, half-talks through frostbitten nights, fallen brothers, broken promises, segregation, and the war that didn’t end when he stepped off the bus.
Style: 1950s Electric Blues / Korean War Story Blues
Instruments: Hollow-body guitar, upright bass, brushed drums, harmonica, slide guitar, wind ambience
Vibe: Cold, haunted, weary, reflective
