The weather was pretty much perfect for this race. A cool 64 in the morning to start with a high of 81. It was mostly tailwinds at the beginning which meant we had to battle some headwinds on the way back. I felt like a million bucks up until about mile 105. Luckily I found a group to work with which was nice. I am also super proud of Kimye for completing her longest gravel race to date! This was my first time at this event and now I understand why it has grown to be so popular. They just do things right! This is now a big event but still has that grassroots feel. Well done, Gravel Worlds. I will be back!
