The 2024–25 Italian Serie A season was filled with drama and fierce competition. Napoli claimed their fourth Scudetto, edging past Inter Milan by just one point after securing a 2–0 win over Cagliari on the final matchday. Antonio Conte made history by becoming the first manager to win the league with three different clubs—Juventus, Inter, and now Napoli. One of the standout performers of the season was Scott McTominay, who joined Napoli from Manchester United and played a pivotal role in midfield, earning recognition as the league’s best player.
Inter Milan, the defending champions from the 2023–24 season, endured a trophyless campaign and parted ways with coach Simone Inzaghi following a heavy 5–0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final. Atalanta impressed once again under Gian Piero Gasperini, finishing third despite injury setbacks, while Roma mounted a strong late-season push under Claudio Ranieri and narrowly missed out on a Champions League spot. At the bottom of the table, Empoli, Venezia, and Monza were relegated, while Como 1907 celebrated survival in Serie A after a 21-year absence.
