“Shadowed!” by John S. Zamecnik. This selection of film music is from the Sam Fox Photoplay Edition volume 2. This is a large orchestra arrangement, it was also available in small orchestra, piano solo and piano and violin arrangements. The only difference between the large and small orchestra arrangements is additional parts for oboe, 2nd clarinet, bassoon and French horn.
These generic themes were published by the hundreds during the silent film era and played by theatre musicians during the presentation of the movie to provide suitable background music.
