Veteran Tory MP Andrew Rosindell has defected to Reform UK, dealing another blow to Kemi Badenoch. The Romford MP of nearly 25 years blamed Conservative failures over the Chagos Islands, calling it a red line.
He becomes the third senior Conservative to join Reform in a week, following Nadhim Zahawi and Robert Jenrick, deepening the crisis for the Tory leadership.
