1994 Honda Beat - Overhyped Paperweight or Exotic in Miniature? - Version Z - PP1

This is potentially the cleanest example of a Honda Beat to hit the US streets. Just under 12,000 miles, this is as fresh as it gets for a 90's Honda.

Specifically, this is a Beat Version Z, which features alloy wheels and a black gauge cluster, opposed to the normal white. Built to comply with the smallest tax-class for vehicles in Japan, this Kei-class sports convertible is one of a kind on American roads. Tiny, strikingly beautiful, and an absolute blast to drive, this is definitely going down as one of my favorite cars I've ever driven, even though it's possibly the slowest car I've ever owned!

Note that this was filmed while the car was awaiting the arrival of a new muffler, as the stock one was blocked, so its rowdy sounding exhaust is due to this car being essentially straight-piped. Honestly, I like it this way... something very Honda-like about a high-revving rasp machine.
