We took on Gap Road out in the Awaba State Forest, near Freemans Waterhole, NSW.
Gap road offers a little of everything including rock steps bog holes and steep lose hill climbs. We did the track from Palmers Road through to Freemans Drive, it mostly climbs up this way. You could do it in reverse for some challenging descents.
I would consider this a medium- hard grade track depending on what lines you choose. There are chicken tracks around most of the bog holes and some of the climbs. But there are none around the harder rock climbs and off camber sections. It will take around 1 1/2 - 2 hours to complete.
