The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome celebrated another restoration milestone as its replica Fokker Dr.I triplane returned to the skies on October 18, 2026. After years of airshow performances, the aircraft received newly built wings and a meticulous restoration led by the museum’s dedicated volunteers. Originally built by Hank Palmer and Louis Wilgus and later flown by Cole Palen from Florida to New York, this iconic aircraft continues to embody the spirit of early aviation history.
