زورخانه تختی یزد ۱۸ اسفند ۱۳۸۷ با شماره ثبت ۲۵۳۶۶ به‌عنوان یکی از آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده است.
زورخانه یک نهاد فرهنگی منحصربه‌فرد در ایران است که در آن ورزشکاران، به‌عنوان "پهلوانان"، به تمرینات سنتی مشغول می‌شوند، در حالی که موسیقی زنده و آواز همراه آنهاست. این آیین‌ها ورزش را با عناصر معنوی و فرهنگی ترکیب می‌کنند و فضایی جذاب و قدرتمند ایجاد می‌کنند.
