Barra NA+T Build Part. 11 - Barra Turbo Oil Feed & Return Lines Installed!

In Part 11 of the Barra NA+T Build, I get stuck into sorting the oil feed and return lines for the turbo.

There were a few unexpected hiccups along the way, including the engine mount bracket fouling on the external gate housing – turns out the FG turbo setups don’t exactly play nice with the bulkier B-series brackets. I had to get a little creative with the grinder to keep things moving… definitely one of the dodgier fixes I’ve done, but it’s only temporary!

I also go through fitting up the oil drain, tapping the sump for P-clamps to keep the lines neat and secure, and getting the oil feed sorted with an inline filter and all the fittings. It’s not the final layout yet – I’ll tweak it all once the engine's back in the car – but this gets another important job ticked off the list. Next up… water lines!

• Generic -4 PTFE Hose Kit
• Aeroflow -4AN Inline Fuel & Oil Filter Black (AF607-04BLK)
• Raceworks 1/4 NPT to 1/8 NPT Oil Feed Adapter to suit block (WF-808-04SS)
• Aeroflow 1/8" NPT To -4AN Female Nut Black Straight Swivel Nut (AF916-04-02BLK)

• Demon Pro Parts – Oil Return Kit (400 Series - Push-Lock Hose & Fittings)
• Aeroflow -10 AN Oil Fitting (3/8 BSP Thread)

🔧 Other Bits:
• M6 Bolts & Spring Washers – for P-Clamps on sump
• Generic 5mm Drill Bit & M6 Tap – for mounting P-Clamps
• WD-40 – Hose assembly (makes life easier!)
