Peter Dougan Capaldi (born 14 April 1958) is a Scottish actor, writer and director, best known for playing the twelfth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who and as spin doctor Malcolm Tucker in The Thick of It, for which he has received four British Academy Television Award nominations, winning Best Male Comedy Performance in 2010. For reprising the role in the spinoff film In the Loop, Capaldi was honoured with several film critic award nominations for Best Supporting Actor. He further took on the role of Paddington Bear's neighbour Mr. Curry in the family comedy film Paddington; he is set to reprise the role in Paddington 2.
Jenna-Louise Coleman (born 27 April 1986), known as Jenna Coleman, is an English actress. Her notable roles are Clara Oswald in the British television series Doctor Who, Jasmine Thomas in the British soap opera Emmerdale, and Queen Victoria in the ITV drama series Victoria. From 2012 to 2015, Coleman portrayed Clara Oswald, companion to the eleventh and twelfth incarnations of the Doctor in the science fiction series Doctor Who. She appeared as Lydia Wickham in the BBC drama Death Comes to Pemberley.
Alexandra Elizabeth Kingston (born 11 March 1963) is an English actress, who trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Active from the early 1980s, Kingston became noted for her television work in both Britain and America in the 1990s, including her portrayal of the title role in the British miniseries The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders (1996) and her regular role as Dr. Elizabeth Corday in the NBC medical drama ER (1997–2004). Later credits include the recurring role of River Song in the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who (2008–2015), Mrs. Bennet in the ITV1 period-drama fantasy Lost in Austen (2008) and Dinah Drake Lance in The CW's Superhero fiction drama series Arrow (2013-2016).
