IET Camp 2023
The inaugural Initial Entry Training Camp of the revitalized Florida State Guard was conducted in June 2023. The next phase of recruits will begin their training in February. Divided into four main phases, recruits will participate in medical, search and rescue, distribution and logistics, maritime reconnaissance, land navigation, and other training exercises necessary to protect and preserve the life and property of the people of Florida. Our training reflects our growth in capability to support public safety through rapid deployment of ground, maritime, and aviation mission sets.
