Monuments - Quasimodo - Drum and Percussion Cover by Adam Janzi

This song is extremely intensive and it has alot of different moods and tempos in it. It's from Monuments most recent album "The Amanuensis" and I love that it has so much atmosphere blended in with the heavy grooves (I think they even use something that sounds like a didgeridoo in this song). I've already covered "Origin Of Escape" from this album, it was the first percussion-cover that I did, over a year ago.
I tried to build up the atmosphere some more and tried to bring out some more mysticism and a feeling of meeting something unknown and new, and blend it in with chaos and intensity, ending on a chaotic, strong and determined note, where it might feel like you're now part of that mysticism.
Since this whole album was inspired by Battlestar Galactica, I tried to keep that in mind when enhancing the song.

I've tried doing a heavier, more intense mix and tried adding more depth with the percussion by using larger and darker reverbs for certain elements.
This was definitely one of the more fun mixes that I've done.
