Ray Allen was one of the greatest shooters of all time (yes Steph Curry fans, he is not the #1 greatest, just one of the greatest...) His impeccable shooting form, soft touch and dead eye meant that he rarely ever missed, routinely hitting over 40% of his threes during his incredible NBA Tenure.
Ray Allen intially played for the Milwaukee Bucks, and came just 1 game away from the NBA Finals under Head Coach George Karl, before being traded to the Seattle Supersonics (now Oklahoma City Thunder) where he continued to shoot the lights out, but was ultimately moved to the Boston Celtics before the 2007, 2008 season. Playing with Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and under Head Coach Doc Rivers, Boston would win the 2008 NBA Championship, but then would struggle to repeat the same feat. So, Ray signed with the Miami Heat to play alongside LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, a move that was genius for the Heat. As Ray Allen, with just one jumpshot, essentially saved the legacy of LeBron James.
