The “island of the winds” is Greece’s most famous whitewashed paradise. Mykonos is gorgeous, glamorous, luxurious and Greece’s answer to Ibiza. A visit to the world’s hottest party island is not just about stylish nightlife and preening celebrities, I personally fell in love with the island’s dazzling white sand beaches and clear blue waters. There’s just something about Mykonos that makes me smile and totally captivates me, like losing myself for hours in the enchanting whitewashed cycladic maze of narrow marble streets lined with picture perfect tiny houses, cafes, churches and boutiques all with colorful doors and window frames. As I indicated earlier, there’s just something so utterly amazing about Mykonos that’s hard to put into words and always best experienced in person. 🇬🇷🤍
