unfortunately I am unable to get out in the workshop to play with my cars due to a small operation on my shoulder which has put me out of action for a month so I have been looking back over some of my old racing videos and I found this one of my first ever race in the MGB. now strictly speaking its the first MGB race in my ownership as I did try the car out at Snetterton at the end of 2014 before purchase. It was the start of a wonderful couple of years when Matt and I would share the driving of this car racing in CSCC swinging sixties events that would eventually lead on to racing 3hour endurance events at Spa.
This first race was a race full of action, on the first lap I was T boned into last place and then set about regaining places only to drop them again because the pitstop was so long!
We started 15th and finished 15th but had so much fun.
Im still racing the car 9 years later and last year managed to pick up a 3rd in class
