NES-7 Port-77 Rainy Spaceport | Sci-Fi Ambiance for Sleep, Study, Relaxation

Scene Story: Welcome to NES-7 Port-77, a remote storm-beaten landing zone where the weather report is basically: Rain, Thunder, and Please Don’t Stand Outside.

After surviving the lightning-happy storms at HZL-3, Command decided to “reward” me with a transfer. And by reward, I mean they sent me to NES-7 Port-77, a place where the storms don’t just arrive—they plan ahead.

The rain here falls sideways. I don’t know how that’s possible, but I’m starting to suspect the wind has a personal grudge. Thunder shakes the landing pads so hard that the entire building rumbles like a malfunctioning mass driver.

From the Monitoring Deck, I can see the silhouettes of tall landing towers, blinking beacons struggling to stay visible through the downpour. A patrol shuttle just flew by, its engines screaming in protest, and the pilot said over the radio:
“Control, either the storm just threw something at me… or the storm IS throwing something at me.”

Radio chatter has become my entertainment again. One pilot claims he saw the storm form a face. Another says their navigation AI is refusing to leave the hangar. Can’t blame it.

Inside, the deck is warm, humming gently with life-support white noise and the soft digital beeps of status monitors. Honestly? It’s surprisingly peaceful… as long as I pretend the thunder isn’t trying to knock the station into a new orbit.

I sip my rehydrated coffee, watch the sheets of rain sweep across Port-77, and think:
“Yep. Another perfect shift in the galaxy’s loudest weather machine.”

But hey—at least it’s quiet.
Well… quiet enough.
For NES-7, that counts as a miracle.

Tonight’s ambience includes:
Steady rainfall hitting metal surfaces
Deep, rolling thunder across the landing pads
Radio chatter from patrol flyers battling the storm
Passing spacecraft engine hums echoing through the port
