About Comoros: The Comoros is a volcanic archipelago off Africas east coast, in the warm Indian Ocean waters of the Mozambique Channel. The nation states largest island, Grande Comore (Ngazidja) is ringed by beaches and old lava from active Mt. Karthala volcano.
