Our long term Mitsubishi Triton GSR has already faced some tough challenges off-road but there’s a big difference between tackling a few obstacles and taking part in a lengthy journey.

The Victorian High Country is an iconic go-to location for 4x4 enthusiasts and nature lovers everywhere, making it the perfect place to test our Triton to its absolute limits.

Travelling in a convoy of highly modified 4x4s, our Triton remains 100% stock for this trip and is here for us to see how well it performs in a real-world environment.

Custodian and production specialist Tom Place seeks to find out if the Triton will impress, or if he’d be left wondering if one of its rivals would be better suited to this challenge in stock form.
