Setting up an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Programme can be a bit daunting particularly in a Low and Middle Income Country (LMIC) like Nigeria but during this ECHO Session, our lead facilitator, Prof. Samuel Olowo shared his thoughts on how to set up an IPC Programme.

Dr. Joan Ejembi, the IPC Focal Person at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) also shared experience in setting up an IPC programme in that facility.

Finally, Dr. Iyabo Kudayah of Lifeline Children Hospital, Lagos also shared improvement in IPC practices at her facility.
