The hybrid event co-organized on 23 July in Palais des Nations by OHCHR, the Global Cities Hub, the Geneva Human Rights Platform of the Geneva Academy and United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) created an unprecedent space for more than a 100 participants from central governments, local and regional governments including municipalities, UN experts, CSOs, NHRIs and academia to discuss the role local and regional governments can play in human rights reporting and implementation.
