Victoria's "Golden Triangle" between Ballarat, Bendigo & Maryborough is rich (pun intended) in mining history.
It's hard to imagine what the landscape must have looked like back in the gold rush days as hundreds of acres were stripped of trees in the relentless quest for fortune.
It's equally as hard to imagine how it would have looked in it's natural and pristine state before colonisation and when the first nations people lived in harmony with the land.
I decided to leave this video with no narration in the hope that it is a relaxing experience for you as I take you along on my journey.
