How to Convert Sand from CFT to KG? | Sand Weight Calculation |
In this video, we will learn How to convert Sand from CFT to KG in a very simple way.
This calculation is very important at construction sites to estimate material requirements such as sand quantity for plaster, brickwork, concrete, etc.
Formula:
1 CFT Sand ≈ 45 to 55 Kg (Depends on Sand Density)
Standard Density of Sand Used:
1600 kg/m³
Conversion:
1 m³ = 35.3147 CFT
So,
1 CFT Sand = 1600 / 35.3147 ≈ 45.30 kg
Example Calculation Covered in Video:
If Sand = 20 CFT
= 20 × 45.30
= 906 Kg
