나는 얌전히 구타당할 것이고, 잔뜩 얼룩진 멍들이 그걸 증명하고 있으니까요.
그래서 당신이 내게 친절히 대하는 게 너무 무서워요.
당신이 구해주려 내민 손 앞에, 맞기 직전의 사람처럼 나는 움츠러들 테니까.
그 마음이 내게 묻는다면 털어내면 되고, 그게 안 되면 닦아내면 돼요.
근데 언젠가 당신을 도려내야 한다면, 그땐 어떡해야 되나요.

If my feelings stain you, you can shake them off, and if that doesn’t work, you can wipe them away.
But if someday I have to cut you out… what am I supposed to do then?
