In todays show I visit the little town in the middle of Hokkaido called Asahikawa, where we find “Gin Neko” a 75 year old 3rd generation Izakaya that serves some serious sake and grilled chicken, of course if you find your self in snow country then you will have to grab a hot bowl of ramen too, so I tried the local favorite, soy sauce base and a spicy miso ramen! both were delicious and heartwarming. It was an amazing trip where we made some new friends and shared great food and sake.
