Beautiful Vase – Firewood & Resin Turning
In this video, I turn a unique vase made from firewood pieces embedded in resin, creating beautiful natural patterns with striking color contrast. The combination of raw wood and crystal-clear resin gives the vase an elegant and artistic appearance.
For the finishing process, I use two levels of rubbing compound:
• Rubbing Compound Level 1 – to remove sanding scratches and refine the surface
• Rubbing Compound Level 2 – to achieve a smooth, deep, and glossy finish
This two-step polishing method enhances the clarity of the resin and brings out the warm tones and textures of the firewood.
