It was 23 years ago that Adam Avery started brewing beer in a garage. And last year, he was proudly commissioning a brand-new brewery with an annual output of roughly 100,000 hectolitres. When it came to choosing a brewhouse, Avery Brewing opted for a CombiCube B, in which the brewery produces no fewer than 52 different beers a year – a new one every week, so to speak. So as to be able to responsively meet the rising demand for craft beer in cans, Avery likewise installed a Volumetic VOC can filler, rated at 18,500 cans an hour. As soon as the brewhouse comes up against the limits of its capacity, the craft brewery intends to install a second CombiCube B opposite the first. The relevant space for this has already been earmarked.
The Krones Group plans, develops and manufactures machines and complete lines for the fields of process, filling and packaging technology. Its product portfolio is rounded off by information technology, factory planning and products from Krones’ subsidiaries as intralogistics, valve production etc.
