Chasing Berkshire & Eastern's FI-1 into Shirley with 4 Locomotives!

On a bright sunny day in the mixed-weather month of March, I went out on a whim to see what was happening around Ayer. I found some manifest train half pulled out of the yard on the west wye, and went to Walker Road in Shirley to find out what this train is. Turns out it was Berkshire and Eastern's FI-1, a train which isn't the easiest to catch around here. After an MBTA outbound, the Fitchburg Freighter with a staggering 4 engines pulled out of camp and started its journey west. I chased it to Patterson Road, then to Main Street in Shirley where they flew by at over 40 mph!
