Join me for a deep dive visit at Rollerworld in Derby - My personal favourite skate rink. Thanks to Matt and all the staff for allowing me to have all access to the building before opening! The rink is a very large 920 squared meter maple wood floor and the venue boast a café serving a full range of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks, a learner arena for skill building and even a full licensed bar for over 18s! Visitors can rent or bring their own skates to the rink which includes optional lockers and there are trained marshals on and around the rink at all times as well as at skate hire. Facilities are in place, including men's and women's toilets and an elevator for easy access from the ground floor. Arcade machines, toy grabbers, sweets and other machines can be found scattered around the building so it really is a great family focused venue too.
