Valhalla POV - Blackpool Pleasure Beach - The World's Wettest Water Ride!

We remember Valhalla as it was before the Valhalla Brave the Adventure refurbishment with this POV shot by @Ghoster Studios. In this video, you can view the scenes/effects as they were and can compare the changes with the new ride during your next visit!

Valhalla is a custom Intamin water ride that opened in 2000 replacing The Fun House. Valhalla won many themed attraction awards and between 2015, 2018 and 2019 it won the Best Water Ride In The World Golden Ticket Awards.

Valhalla reportedly has very high running costs given the complexity of the ride system and its effects. The ride was refurbished and after being out of action for the last 3 years has now returned with a much-altered ride system, new scenes, a new soundtrack and more sustainable effects.

Making the ride sustainable was key as it's the most expensive ride to run in the park with the old version of the ride reaching £147,000 per month in peak season to operate. The ride is rumoured to take up a third of the entire park's power supply!
