USING Nikkor 500mm f4 How GREAT is it 20 years later on a Nikon Z8 for birds?!

Photography and film making using super telephoto lens for birds and wildlife in the countryside on Gitzo tripod & Levelling base & Acratech Panoramic Long Lens head mount for birds swans ducks wildlife. Where would you suggest I try this lens in the Gloucestershire area SW England?
