Today's video is all about trilogies. Why are there so many in fantasy (and is that actually true?), what issues they suffer from, and a discussion on some of the trilogies I think fall into "trilogy traps". Let me know if you have any good trilogies that are good from beginning to end because I've been DNF'ing a sad amount of series lately and need a good one to get into!
Trilogies I mention:
The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
Mistborn (Era 1) by Brandon Sanderson
Shades of Magic by V.E. Schwab
Wool by Hugh Howey
The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss
The Broken Earth by N.K. Jemisin
The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobbs
