Back to the Future Theme - Metal Cover by Ro Panuganti

Happy 40th Anniversary to the iconic Science Fiction-Comedy #backtothefuture and if anyone's seen a Gibson ES-345 from the film set I heard they're looking for it.

As far as movies can go to influence my music, love of VFX, and comedy, I think the Back to the Future Trilogy has to be in the top. From the excitement of traveling in time, without the complexity of plot holes, to the set recreations for each era, and of course the Johnny B. Goode scene that definitely got me and many into playing guitar live, it's a phenomenal series. Interestingly I got the idea to put together my take on the title theme after discovering a DeLorean service center in my area and hoped to put together a neat video project practically.

Musically this one wasn't too hard to arrange, given its emphasis on melody, but I opted to take the huge-guitar-layer approach and orchestrate much of the parts as I would in my early Youtube days! I think the result makes it a fun listen for the primary lead guitar, while having bits of my modern metal approach in the rhythm section! I hope I could tribute this amazing movie series well in just two minutes, along with its main theme, celebrate the 40th anniversary well, and entertain you all the way the movies did for me!
